I understand that Jersey Shore Cycle Club (JSCC, SCC, or the “Club”) activities are to promote recreational bicycling and bicycling safety and that the Club’s policy is to obey all traffic laws and to wear an approved safety helmet and that participation is at my own risk. I acknowledge that my participation in JSCC activities constitutes my representation and that I am able to operate my bicycle properly and that my bicycle is in good operating condition. I acknowledge that JSCC activities are led by member volunteers and I assume all risk of injury to my person and property that may occur while I am participating in Club events. By registering for this membership voluntarily,  I waive, release, forever discharge and hold harmless to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Club, its officers, directors and members for any and all claims of any kind that I or someone else on my behalf, could assert, arising out of my participation in any Club event.
